Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer

I'll watch but the hype died for me. Show has taken forever

I hope the Duffer Brothers found a good editor in the long gap between the last season and this one. Individual episodes running over two hours were a real task to sit through.

And after all that, them boys had the balls to go back to the Upside Down AGAIN! I couldn’t believe the nerve they had to lead their audience in a circle after all that…

A lot of negativity in this thread.

I thought Season 4 was fantastic. My favorite of the series.

I fail to understand how it can take this damn long to finish a 5 season show

The wife and I have been watching the series for the first time over the last month or two, one episode per night. We have the TWO AND A HALF HOUR LONG season 4 finale to watch tonight and then we'll all be done. I'm sure by the time S5 comes out we'll want to rewatch S4 again. It's been intense.

Also, that's what a trailer/teaser should be. intense but gives almost NOTHING away about the story. just generates hype.

A few notes from a first time viewer:

1.) Steve is one of my favorite characters from any show. His transformation from a dislikable douchbag in season 1 to what he is now has been incredible

2.) Steve and Toothless's friendship is just fun shite to watch. Again, looking back to S1, what an oddball set of characters to find bro-chemistry

3.) Eddie has been a fun follow in S4 as well. He's grown on me and following up on #2 some of the scenes with just him and Toothless fooling around in the background give him a lot of depth

4.) Good Lord what the frick has happened to Jonathan in S4. I'm over this pothead. Argyle too.

5.) without seeing how the S4 finale goes down, Hopper is the fricking man. I mean wow.

6.) Holy shite how that slut Nancy let herself go between S1 and now is disgraceful. Also her dad is awesome.

7.) frick Billy. I hate the scenes in S4 with Max all mopey about him dieing. Dude was nothing more than a grade 'A' dick.

8.) S4E8 has probably one of the best final 15 minutes of any show I've ever seen. The cinematography, the music, the acting. Made it so hard to not go immediately into the S4E9 movie we are watching tonight. *chef's kiss*

9.) I was glad to see the story move on from Mike after S2. That kid has seen some shite and needed a break.

10.) Eleven. I don't even know what to say other than "frick Papa". She is such an incredibly sympathetic character. After the S4 skating rink incident I really wished she still had her powers and could have just snapped ol' girl's neck from the distance. I can't imagine what she's going to look like in S5 with how the actress has changed.

11.) I liked seeing them show Lucas struggle with desperately wanting to fit in with the cool kids and struggling with abandoning his friends who clearly were not apart of that life. It felt very real.

From my understanding it was Jonathan's actor that got her into it unfortunately. They both are looking rough sadly. With that being said I'm not sure how Nancy is a slut
