Good, reasonably priced tailors in Baton Rouge?

Have a special wedding to attend later this summer and it feels like a good time to get a new suit. I will definitely need to have it tailored. Who is good in BR?
Alternately, anyone had a local tailor measure you for a mail order made to order suit? What was that like? I guess maybe it’s normal for a tailor but it feels like it might be weird to go to someone and say “can you measure me so I can order a suit from someone else.”

I bought a suit from Perlis, they tailored in-house for no added cost. They did a good job and I like the suit, I would do that process again when I need to buy a suit.

George Bass on Corporate. They can do anything from custom suits and clothes to tailoring old suits.
I had an old suit from my grandfather that needed a more modern cut. They did a fantastic job and affordable.
I think they are betting that you will come back and buy a custom suit.

Yes still open. I dropped in a month ago for dress pants. Very reasonable pricing. The father and son are awesome

If buying a suit, Dillards does it at no charge when you purchase from them. They did a great job on my last one. If you need something else altered the tailor next to French Market Bistro is very good.

When I lived there 3 years ago, Golden Needle in the shopping center on the corner of highland and staring was my go-to.

I’ve never bought a suit, even at jos a bank, that didn’t include free alterations. Every place that’s sells suits will do this for you. It won’t be a custom suit but it won’t have the cost either.
if you just want a custom tailored suit, do that. A suit off the rack brought to a tailor is still going to be a suit off the rack, but unless you are obese it’s fine for most people
