My go to for a good lunch is Acropolis. Best specials and really good Greek/Italian food.

Dude says good restaurant and you send him to a chicken tender place?

I mean it’s good but come on.

They do some tasty stuff but it’s a pretty small menu and in a shoebox of a space . The guys have good pedigrees. It’s probably the most interesting “non ethnic” food in Metairie.

Two of my favorites are Mr. Ed's and R&O, both in Bucktown.
