Going to a wedding tomorrow and the invite says they’ll have ‘beer and white claws’.

I’m not a drinker but does this seem a bit trashy? Couple is in their 30s as well. Thought people only drank these on a boat, but even then is there a reason to single them out instead of just saying ‘beer’ and the claws be inclusive of that?

Talk to me, OT!?

Only if not served it in a chilled brown bag.

Definitely. Should be beer and High Noons.

trashy really depends on what is included for beer. Is that only bud light, or do they have actual beer?

We had all sorts of liquor, wine, a variety of beer, and a few cases of white claws just to make sure our friends had fun

Although, the 2 items with the most left the next day were white claw and Chardonnay. We were told the Bulleit bourbon ran out the fastest.

You should be in the office anyway.

It's a signal to women that there will be something for them (and you) to drink, but there's no hard liquor. You don't need bartenders for beers and hard seltzers.

It’s signaling that there won’t be wine but the women will be drunk, nonetheless.

If it’s a white wedding, then there should be white claw. It’s not like the claw isn’t already out.

No budget is big enough for High Noons - they’re proud of those damn things!
