That he was going to totally bomb it. From the minute he stepped on stage, he looked and sounded like he was coming out of a deep sleep. And they obviously knew he was physically and mentally unwell, and still tried to force him on us.

The general public knew. Of course they knew what type of condition he was in. The dude literally hung out in a basement and got the most votes ever. You have to be a complete idiot to think it wasn’t rigged. This wasn’t just this last year this has been going on since he ran for president.

After the debate, I was surprised when CNN's Van Jones almost started crying while starting the ball in motion to get Biden to step down. Other networks did the same.
Strange? These people have propped him up for years and now ALL of them are implying he may not be up to it?
There is NO DOUBT in my mind then or now that somebody (probably Obama) put the word out to his media allies before the debate: "Let's see how he does, but be ready if he bombs".

Biden was already in heavy decline during the 2020 campaign. It was obvious then. He looked like shite and couldn’t speak the night he won.

No question. They thought Trump would be in jail. When it became apparent that wouldn’t work, they went with Plan B. They wanted Biden re-elected, knowing they would bee dropping him early in the second term for “health reasons.” It almost worked.

The mainstream media made half the country believe Covid shots absolutely prevented infection, even AFTER everyone who got the shots got infected.
I’m pretty sure, at the level that the democrat party owns the media, they felt that they could make those same people believe Biden looked like Brad Pitt and sounded like Al Einstein.

I still think that someone ordered his meds held prior to the debate. He should have been hyped up like the Red speech, instead, he looked like the feeble old man that he is. The question- who made the call? And why?

They were bound to be drugging him for certain events. This was him speaking at a conference I was at in February of 2024. I was in this room and he didn't act like he did at the debate just a few months later.

It could have been a situation of having to weigh options. Hyped up Red Speech Joe may not have been able to react to a back and forth type debate setting.

The hope was that he would appear ok on the TV screen.
If they could dig him up and us makeup to make him seem not totally demented for an hour with no studio audience to distract him, the thought was they might fill enough people to get him elected.
Because they're was such a clamor building about his condition they had to try something.
Well they tried something and it failed worse then they thought.

I still believe firmly the original plan was to have Biden serve just enough time in his first term for Kamala to take over, and (potentially) reign for 10 years. I'd like to know what made then abandon that plan.

Remember Brandon’s last State of the Union? Nothing remarkable about it, but he made it through the speech without any major gaffes. The dims and media celebrated it like he’d scored a “10” on the floor exercise in the Olympics, one-handed, blindfolded, while reciting pi out past 500 digits.

That is precisely why they wanted to push the debate up to June.
They wanted to show everyone how fuxed up he was so that they still had time to swap him out.
If they had waited until after the conventions to do debates it would have been too late.

I still cant believe the gop and the media covered for him when he blurted out "we have the most sophisticated ballot gathering" I paraphrase, but that was so obvious before the 2020 election, and we just stood there and took it.
In hindsight it was probably for the better....except for the 15 million illegals and trillions in overspending.
