He just wants to be able to tell his grandkids that all those CRs in the history/civics textbooks are because PawPaw Chip was so good at doing his job.

It’s a horrible spending bill and it’ll get worse when it gets to the senate for reconciliation.

I hope it fails.

So Johnson can only lose one more, right?

They circle the wagons like nobody's business. That's literally the only admirable thing about them.

Where is Chip Roy's alternative Budget Bill? Oh, that's right, he doesn't have one, but he's an attention whore with an ego the size of DFW. Carry on Chip, the flatulence ridden Democrat Party thanks you for doing their work for them.

What if it’s the best bill you can get?

Start cutting some fat and you’ll get these two back but you’ll lose more Republicans.

Roy is such a disappointment. He thinks he's smarter than he actually is. He will fight against the President just to hear his name.

And the people that voted this house and senate in expect them to get things done. Not the same ole shite!

They will lose the public.

They do, but that’s also why they went so far off the rails to the leftist extremes they’re dealing with today. Their greatest strength ended up being what ruined them in the eyes of the American public. Once the lefty loonies hijacked the party, nobody had the guts to go against the grain.

My theory is the NGO funding was the reason behind that. Face with losing access to those billions of dollars, dissent from the party line was not an option.

Any reasons given?

Maybe they should make a statement on what they like about it and what they dont like about it.

But that's too much to ask from republicans.

What’s horrible about it? Can you give us some reasons why this bill is so terrible and awful?

Trump fu..ed this all up. He gave them excuses to not stop taxes on OT, Tips and SS by bundling it up in there.
Really wanted to see how each individual would've voted on these things alone.

No it isn't. What ran them off the rails was the fact that they created a monster to gain votes that they could no longer control. It was at that point they had to shift.
