Massie and Roy just want to shut down congress. And make it functionally inept.
Do these two ever put forth any bills or just kill them?
How does it help conservatism if we spend two years doing nothing?

Do you even Google?
Massie has sponsored 77 bills in Congress.
Roy has sponsored 154 bills in Congress.
For comparison, Speaker Mike Johnson has sponsored 63 bills, less than Massie or Roy.

The one true fiscal conservative with backbone and balls. He's right when he says they shouldn't vote for anything that increases the deficit. Cut the military, educ, Medicare. All of it. Shrink the the damn government and deficit. Don't lie and say they did when they know it's the opposite.
Name the bill that he got passed that did any of this.

Any of those bills cut a trillion dollars in deficit? How many of those were passed?

The deficit didn’t happen overnight. Instead of trying to force a crappy bill through for political points, Congress needs to do hard work to make it work for long term.
quote:
The Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) estimated that if the bill as written were passed it would increase the deficit by $3.8 trillion through 2034. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CFPB) noted that if the bill’s expiring policies are extended permanently, it would add $5.3 trillion to the deficit. This is why some conservatives such as Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) have said the bill still needs work:

That sweet, sweet attention is a highly addictive drug. As much as any other. He’s main lining it.

So you think Congress is a smooth, efficient running machine -- but somehow it's Massie and Roy who are fricking up the cogs?

Exactly.
But don't expect the forum AI (R) bots to understand the basics of REDUCING RIDICULOUS SPENDING and ACCOUNTABILITY; and to demand an actual COMMITMENT from lazy, corrupt , mercenary Congress-Creatures to JUST DO THEIR DAMN JOB.

I'll bet you haven't $.02 of proof, Mr. AI Bot, to back up your BS.

I outlined in great detail why I don’t like this bill.
What in particular do you like about this spending bill?

We will get the bill right, and get it passed! Have faith!

Crazy how you people melt down because you get called out for being liberal spenders.
How about instead of deflect, explain why Trump is no different than the rest of the dumbasses who kick the can down the road?

Tough call here. People calling Roy out need to remember there are blue state gope folks that threatened the same thing to get their salt increase. Scared of being held accountable for that. He's on the opposite side of that coin in a red state.
The salt pushing reps have done nothing in 4+ yrs to get their voters to push their state reps to get their taxes lowered, and now threatening to kill this bill.
