With Cage involved this will be great.

It may not be great for the reasons the people making the movie want it to be, but great nonetheless.

My first thought was “SNL skit from 1995”.

Let's not forget one of the greatest actors of his generation. Bale being involved in this is the only reason I would consider giving it a look.

If Bale signed on, then it must be good material. No way he goes to Atlanta for months AND does a dumb movie.

Christian Bale has an insane ability to actually look like the guys he is playing & at the same time still be obviously recognizable

Christian Bale will steal the movie as the supporting actor. He always does. Dude is just that good.

They actually look decent in the photo. The defining factor for this will be can Cage get Madden's voice right. If he pulls a Con Air with the accent, oof.

I'll gladly pay the price of admission just to hear Bale's take on Davis' accent.

If they make this based on real events he will steal the spotlight cause Al didn't like anyone getting more attention than him.

And this movie better have the best Madden locker room speech in history:
"Don't worry about the horse being blind, just load the wagon!"

Nicholas Cage looks like Gene Wilder playing John Madden.
