Anyone else have no interest in continuing to fund the CCP, a transnational criminal organization that wants to destroy the United States and replace us as the global superpower? A communist nation whose transparently sinister motto is 'Hide your strength, bide your time'? A Frankenstein monster that we singlehandedly created?

Not interested in a better tariff deal with China. No deal. Just admit that we made a mistake by ever getting involved with them and then say it's time to fix that mistake.

Seems to me that we were doing just fine without their cheap crap. And that we were doing much better when we manufactured our own stuff. Don't want to hear it about the chips.

This might be our last best chance to get rid of them peacefully.

The list of CCP abuses is endless. Some of their greatest hits:

- allowed Fauci to circumvent our laws against gain-of-function research and caused a pandemic in the process; 20+ million dead, trillions of dollars lost, zero accountability
- deliberate spread of Covid
- CCP military known to be testing viruses and pathogens for biowarfare
- hoarded PPE and other critical supplies during Covid
- Has supply control over many important pharmaceuticals / medicines
- facilitating the murder of our citizens with fentanyl
- sent thousands of military-aged Chinese men across our open borders under Biden
- aiding Houthis with satellite imagery to attack our warships
- claiming international waters as their own
- behind the hacking of and attacks on our critical infrastructure, an act of war
- the spy balloon humiliation
- gave away our manufacturing base to them, now they undercut the prices of our products by employing what amounts to modern-day slavery
- stealing our IP and undercutting our products with cheap knockoff versions
- charging us exorbitant tariffs while never competing on a level playing field and abusing their developing economy status
- infiltration and espionage of our government and politics
- access to our markets while allowing us zero access to theirs
- trying to take control of the Panama Canal and then charging us huge fees to use it
- building spy bases in Cuba
- genocide of Uyghurs
- creating debtor nations with their Belt-and-Road bullsh**
- causing undersea ecologies and entire species of fish to go extinct due to their despicable fishing fleets
- high levels of pollution while paying lip service to climate concerns
- bullying in all forms and at every opportunity; lying about everything, especially economic numbers; cheating, stealing
- made propaganda videos insulting Americans during the pandemic and now again during this trade war
- buying US farmland and land in close proximity to our military bases
- not giving a damn where their space shuttles land on re-entry
- poisoning the minds of our youth by allowing things on TikTok here that they would never allow in China

China’s only natural resource is its slave labor.

I don’t know that we go so far as to de-couple, but we should not let them have ownership in US land, nor should we permit manufacturing of critical infrastructure or supplies to be conducted there. There should be out and out import bans on certain classifications of products.

Yes I do. Might not have as much buying power as potentially paying more for American goods. Learning to do without some things would probably result in much needed weight loss lol.

In order for that you would need to find a more willing, and able, US workforce. Good luck with that.

I do believe we should be less dependent on them as a trade partner and setup ways to make mission critical items in the US (food, medicine, semiconductors, car parts, etc.)

Done at scale it doesn't have to cost that much more to do it in the US as long as the government gets out of the way.

I wish every Japaneese family was required to have a min of 4 kids.

They should have done it years ago........made in Japan was on everything when i was a kid. It rebuilt them after their "total surrender"

The CCP will not be so easy. I'm OK with that. Fuk em.

After Covid-19, if you're an American and still want to be held hostage by the CCP for pharmaceuticals, PPE, and other critical imports you're insane.

Kick out their students, don’t let them own land/companies in the US, Delist their companies off the NYSE.

I’m gonna miss the cheap Chinese carbs for my 4 wheelers and lawn equipment, but I can afford to buy the real stuff if I have to.

I completely agree. There are plenty of other countries with cheap labor who are not trying to supplant the US and who would be happy to manufacture our knick knacks. If we have to outsource some shite, we should at least be sending it to a country that’s not a threat.

Yes...We should. But the reality is we can't at this point unless you want to crash the entire World Markets which might be our only chance at this point
