Feel like this board has been very mixed on Trump’s economic moves to this point.

Personally I think a lot of his moves will be completed if they get to pass tax cuts and budget cuts. Still undecided on tariffs, I agree with them in principle, and if we get better deals because of them in the long run then that’s a win.

It’s still really early in his second term so jury is still out, but there feels like there’s some instability with the economy right now. I’m cool with letting it play out and not freaking out, but my main concern is we will lose the house due to this.

Just fine because I'm a long term thinker, not an instant gratification shitlib.

Doge taking a trillion bucks out of the economy will have an impact slowing it down. Economics 101. But if killing waste, fraud abuse occurs and eliminates fed deficit, its the way to go.

Everyone knew that this was coming or should have. If you did not well good luck in life. It needed and had to happen.

Is DOGE even eliminating what they find?

I’m not clear on that.. are they just identifying or are they actually cancelling all these payments?

The deal with Trump supporters is we know how he works. It really is chess. We know the current moves are strategic to get somewhere.

Most politicians have one simple set of moves. They do their one move and it either works or fails.

Trump could easily do tre simple money printing and let shite boom. That isn’t what’s going on. I have a lot of confidence in him getting us to a much better position.

It’s been 100 days, I think a fair judgment is about about the 1-1.5 year mark.

The shite sandwich that was left for him was ridiculous.

For instance, Biden’s economy should be judged on the massive inflation created due to his direct policies at the year 3 mark.

Why would you think that?

Their new stated GOAL is 155b (nowhere close to the 2T or even 1T they previously said) and they only have receipts for 60. Elon is leaving for Tesla in weeks. There hasn’t been a single arrest or criminal prosecution directly tied to doge findings.

You can keep hoping but the results to date have been absolutely pitiful. 7T annual budget and they’re HOPING to cut 2%. Yikes.

I thik he is doing awesome. I am hoping he makes the first $200k in income tax free, that will be rocket fuel for investing and the economy.

I’ve noticed the word “nazi” has been replaced with “cultist” a lot lately.

I guess since nazi didn’t work they are moving on down the line. Wonder what’s next.

Gas is $2.50 in Texas and my 401k is higher than it’s been in while.

A+ for only 100 days

Not exactly. They had 4 years to prepair for this and went all in on fuking him over.

We really need some judicial reform and congress needs to get off their asses.

If the midterms do not go well, and rampant cheating happens it's not gonna be 1 big happy gvmt family......or maybe it will....if that's how some are playing it.

interesting that folks will argue how much doge will cut but not wether it takes a large sum out of the economic cycle.

Didn’t he say he’d cut a trillion off the debt in his first 100 days?

How’s that going
