Suggestions on Dress shoes

Looking for suggestions for a pair of black dress shoes along with a pair of brown dress shoes to wear with suits along with slacks. I have not bought dress shoes in a few years and looking for something nice and comfortable and updated. TIA

Allen Edmonds. They are very expensive but will last you literally for the rest of your life.

Magnanni, Mezlan, or Allen Edmunds. All pricey, but all are top quality and if you treat them right, they will last. I have AEs that are over 10 years old, and I had a pair of Mezlans that I recently retired at 10 years old.

Meermim shoes. Quality entry level shoes at an affordable price. Better styling and price the Edmonds hands down.
Edit note: go with caps. They are classic and go with just about everything.

Allen Edmonds are great shoes. Just don’t get the light brown lace ups with white soles that all your friends are wearing. They look retarded.

Highly recommend adding Dainite soles.
And don’t forget to get cedar shoe trees and Saphir polish and conditioner.
When you get them, condition and polish as with any new pair.

If you really want comfort, try some Cole Hahn with rubber soles. You can get black wing tips that are as comfortable as walking shoes.

Get some full quill ostrich or some nice gator/croc or camin boots.
Don’t buy the fake skin shite…… good pair of boots will last many years! I have several pair in rotation and from time to time they just need a fresh pair of soles.
