Plus, what is the impact on private school attendance and costs?

Everyone gets dumber and education costs significantly more. That’s how this always ends.

You're of course wrong.

But I'm sorry (not sorry) you and people like you are so disgusting that no one wants their kids around them 8 hours per day.

The same thing that government backed student loans and Tops (in Louisiana) have done to college costs. Cost will rise and those who paid previously will pay more. I am sure there will be income requirements so some may not even see a benefit at all.

Ends? That's what we've been doing for decades.

All they'll end up doing is flooding the private school systems with the undesirables and problematic children that caused issues in public schools in the first place.

This is a totally not-emotional response.

If it's like Oklahoma

More private schools will show up and take funds from state schools. They'll demand no transparency to how they spend state money. And then fake attendance records of students to ensure the money continues to flow.

Eventually they took can try to find a Christian private school with Publix money.

Most poor people still can't afford private school so it really will just help upper middle class kids parents afford the schooling. Also what we see in Oklahoma.

4cubbies, can you please answer this question.

Let’s say a low income black mom has an intellectually gifted son and unfortunately the family resides in a really rough area: the schools are trash, the kids in them are mostly trash, and her son is one of the few who really cares about academics.

If that mom came to you and said “why do you oppose the state govt giving me a hand up to help my some escape an awful situation”, what exactly would your response be?

I don't think this will happen to the extent some may think. It takes effort to send kids to a private school. In addition, private schools will have conduct and contractual obligations that will be enforced or risk losing serious students that are paying not to be interacting with trouble students. The trouble students will most likely go to closest public school, if they even attend.

We homeschool. My wife was pretty upset about this. I have no idea if its good or bad. I don't really understand what it means.
