I would have thought those types of ceremonies were always held in federal buildings.

Some of the most patriotic people I've ever seen are people going to their naturalization ceremonies. They did everything right, don't take away their day.

A few months ago, an official on the radio stated New Orleans would likely not face any punitive measures for their sanctuary city policies.
Since it was the federal government that wrote them and enforces them through the NOPD consent decree. City of New Orleans is in not in control of those policies.

Personally I would withhold every single federal dollar from sanctuary cities until they comply. Not just money for this and money for that. Break those criminal politicians and let’s get this done. Money talks.

This is not ideal in the least bit, people are so dang proud to become citizens and are extremely emotional at these ceremonies, it's a sight to see and witness first hand

Often, but not exclusively in federal courts. But in some areas, they like to host a large May Day in an out door location which the locals assist with. Your federal dollars pay much of the tab.

The one I went to was at a school and fairly large. Like a full school gymnasium or auditorium.
Federal courthouses are probably too secure for a large event that's open to the public like that.
