Texas is a bunch of soyboy libs
They got rid of the steers because of the methane they produce and now it’s just the people who had to leave Louisiana just to find a job

Probably because half the money isn’t being laundered.

Is it because there’s a lot more open space there? They get the sunlight and wind to optimize energy production

Also full of oil companies looking for brownie points by researching and developing green energy

Windmills dominate the landscape everywhere west of Dallas.

Hell…Sterling City’s logo IS a freaking windmill.

We have a lot of windmills, around 15,000 which leads the country. In fact 20% of the entire USA wind power is from Texas.
West Texas is prime location for wind energy, except for the occasional winter blast.

Less regulations and private sector investments something California hates

You ever looked at a map and saw how big Texas is?

SE of Richmond Texas there are huge solar instillations. I think a lot of them got severely damaged in a recent hailstorm. We have so much "green" energy because we have so much rural land, along with abundant wind and sun. That is the reason.

I've driven through NW Texas a couple of times in the past two years. All you see are wind turbines.

There’s a large solar farm off US 90 between Rosenberg and East Bernard, then another huge one around the Fairchilds area.
Supposedly a big one was going to also be constructed a bit West/NW of Damon.

Need more of those Giza Pyramids

Texas isn’t really a red state. It’s more of a “do whatever the political donors want” state. It’s actually good for growth but there are a ton of regulations just to keep donor competition away or force industries into pay for play. It’s become outright blatant this session with “school choice” and hemp bans. Even our highways are owned by out-of-state interests. We’re #1 in litigation too.

And SW of Richmond, all the way to the border. Ugly AF.
