Best Bomb Threat or Similar Stories

When I was at LSU a custodian called in a bomb threat because he didn’t want to show up for his shift and was later arrested. Traffic was horrific trying to “evacuate” campus.
These are bullshite 99.99% of the time. What are your most absurd excuses you’ve encountered for a tard doing this?

I know a girl that called in a bomb threat when in High School to get a friend out of a test.
She never went to jail or anything but I know she had some restrictions where she couldn't even get a passport for years (according to her, she is not overly reliable lol)

not excuses, but about 30 years ago or so there was a rash of bomb threats at local High Schools. Mostly copycats after the first one got a ton of attention.
Then one student called one in from a payphone on campus of his own school.
Needless to say, he got caught.

At age 5, I pulled the fire alarm after soccer practice at Wildwood Elementary in 1979. Firemen came. I fessed up and had a painful conversation with them. They were very gracious though. And yes I remember this vividly 45 years later.

Not a bomb threat, but in junior high (possibly around Columbine) the entire school spent the day in the gymnasium so that police and a bomb squad could check out a “clicking” noise a teacher heard coming from a locker.

Speaking for a friend.
Waaaay back in the day, three students that rode together to high school were running late. One of them called the school board office with a bomb threat. When they reached the school all of the students were outside so they parked the car an eased on into the mix.

When I was in the Air Force our ship got a bomb threat called in. I answered the call and the caller said he had placed a bomb somewhere on base. I asked him to hold on, gave the phone to another guy in my unit and said “it’s for you”. I didn’t want to do the paperwork. Turned out it was a drill.
