For those who are no longer into craft beer. What happened, why did you change your mind?

For me it was the countless number of new breweries that were popping up everywhere. Nothing about it felt unique or microbrewery about it. The same vapid vibe pretty much no matter where you are.
Also, the egregious variations of over saturated IPA options that just got plain ridiculous. The traditional west coast IPA that was awesome not even 10-15 years ago, just vanished and seem to have been replaced by New England/juice flavored IPAs.

This and it's still like that. I go for bourbon way more often because the options suck, the prices went nuts, and I guess fewer calories or whatever.

I have always preferred English bitters, brown ales, porters, and stouts.
America finally got into making beer beyond BMC, but my favorite styles never caught on. There have been a few that I enjoyed, but I’ve never been a fan of the high ABV and heavy hop brews that dominate American craft beer.

If you like the taste of it, what does it matter how many breweries exist?

Got too expensive, got tired of having to be at a brewery on 8 am on a Saturday or having to run to a liquor store at 2 pm on Wednesday for a limited release.
What really did it was a few summers ago - went to Gnarley Barley, they didn’t have AC in the tap room and all they were serving were heavy stouts and porters. Nowadays, I drink Miller Lite at the house and whatever lager they have on tap.

Went on to the next trend

Limited releases and everything going to juicy IPAs. I’m not waiting in line for beer. I just buy Shiner or Yeungling at the store. I do like that Urban South Cucumber/Lime Gose. shite I guess I still like craft beer. And non craft beer. And bourbon.

Disagree. My taste buds aren’t the same as changing styles of clothing. Good beer that I like will always be good beer that I like.

There was a great post that went viral on Twitter a couple of years ago.
“Hey, want to go to the beer festival downtown this weekend? It’s $65 and you get to drink in a parking lot next to a bank. They have a stout made with Lucky Charms and an IPA called Hop Sodomy. If you get hungry, there’s a food truck selling vegan burritos for $15.”

Craft Beer to Bourbon to Tequilla/ Mescal.
I don’t know what is next but this seems to be the current order.
Probably back to Wine or Vodka and the cycle starts over

I’ve also been on tequila for a long time.

I always say, people who don’t like tequila haven’t had good tequila. It’s a fact because tequila is delicious.

I’ve gotten into hard ciders since moving north with all the apple orchards around.
I tend to like a dry/acidic cider, but the hopped ciders are a nice mix of light/refreshing with a hint of hops.

This. My favorite beers are Stout, Porters, and a Kolsch.
The Deutches Haus always has great beer on tap. Dunkel and Kolsch.
Most craft breweries around here don’t make a good Porter or Stout.

Bourbon. As I get older 2 to 3 IPAs and I feel like shite the next day.
I can drink Bourbon and feel fine. Miller lite as well.
