Been using Red Stick but it can be a bit of a pain when you have to go at certain times.
For those who use local pharmacies, who do you go to?
FTR, Red Stick absolutely destroys places like Walgreens and CVS, especially the Jefferson/Bluebonnet CVS which is quite possibly the worst I’ve ever been to.

This is generally the case with any independent pharmacy. They provide superior service in a fraction of the time. Unfortunately, Pharnacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) are driving them out of business. There is a PBM reform bill before the MS House (which the senate already approved), but it looks like the leadership in the house is going to bend the knee, kiss the ring of the PBMs, and kill the bill. Currently PBMs are steering patients, requiring them to use PBM owned pharmacies or even mail order. HB1123 would make this illegal and allow the patient to choose where they got their medication filled. If you have a minute this morning, it wouldn’t hurt to call the speaker of the house, Jason white, and tell him to concur with HB1123. 601-359-3300. It doesn’t matter if you’re not from Mississippi, it just matters that they know people are aware and watching.

Jason White of West, MS could give a rat’s arse about hearing from Louisiana folks about this subject.
Address your concerns in writing on the backs of $100 bills and mail them to him and he’ll slightly take notice.
If you want to influence Mississippi politics, you have to personally know someone. A random phone call to their office from an out-of-state stranger has zero effect.

I was using Bocage pharmacy. One day I called in a prescription and they were closed the next. I believe the owner retired and just shut the doors.

Prescriptions to Geaux by far the quickest and most convenient. Owned by a local couple who are both Pharmacists and are always there making sure their business runs smooth.

Prescriptions to Geaux. But y’all stay at Walgreens and don’t clutter up my place.

There are several great local drug stores here in town. People have mentioned quite a few. Bolton's, Red Stick, Prescriptions to Geaux, etc are all good. I know Red Stick will ship your medicine, which is helpful if its something you take regularly, not need immediately when sick.
The PBMs need to be blasted for trying to harm the independents. Unfortunately, PBMs can afford high paid lobbyists and work across state lines.

I noticed this a few weeks ago. I've used them before and one day poof they were gone.
