Happy Gilmore was on the other day, and I will self admit I’ve never been a Sandler guy but have somewhat fond feelings for this.

I'm in. From this trailer it sort looks like they're gonna actually try to make a good movie, not just a nostalgia hit.
If it's mildly entertaining like Hubie Halloween it's a win.

Plot will be Happy has a good life but needs to return to play golf for some reason to help his family. But he has lost his edge over the years and can’t play like he used to. So he goes to Chubbs’s grave to talk to him and finds Shooter McGavin, who we discover actually had a good relationship with Chubbs. They have it out but Happy realized he actually needs to work with Shooter in order to get his edge back. So Shooter and Happy with their new found common friendship in Chubbs, choose to work together and Happy with Shooter’s help gets his groove back, accomplishes what he set out to do and his family is happy again. Along with a new found friend, Shooter McGavin.

The last thing Sandler needs is more money. Same with most of the people in the movie too I suspect.
This just screams "let's get the gang back together and have some fun" similar to most Sandler flicks.
This looks absolutely dumb and stupid, and I am all in. The first one was dumb too, and it's awesome. I think people forget how ridiculous the first one was.
Little disappointed that there was no Shooter in that trailer. But Julie Bowen was looking pretty fiya.

Yeah ok. Adam Sandler has made more money than he knows what to do with. He doesn't make more movies b/c he needs a few bucks. He does so he can hang out with friends and have a good time, and i'm going to watch this and have a good time watching it.
and to all of you who are incapable of just enjoying a dumb comedy movie meant to be over the top dumb and funny.....

Hopefully the comedy parts hit right. The trailer comes off more like a stroll down memory lane with modern celebrity cameos.
I haven't seen Sandler's recent work to know if he's still got it.
