Tax it!
La Prensa, citing statistical information from the Central Bank of Nicaragua, stated in its report that, while the sum received in January was seven percent less than that received in December 2024, Nicaragua received $81.4 million more in January 2025 when compared to January 2024.

I’ve been saying to tax the frick out of remittance payments. Make it so expensive to send money back to their country that these people self deport because it’s no longer financially viable for them to stay

Gee I wonder how much of that money came directly from USAID or the like.

Illegal immigration costs us a lot. But they will say this is double taxation and regressive and you hate poor people that don’t live in your country.

Keep the cigar factories going though.

Likely none
Thats American wages being shipped overseas via illegals. And no longer being circulated in our local economy. Forever

I agree. We should be charging a fee for sending money out of the country.

IDGAF what they say. We citizens are more than double taxed.

Americans come last in the American Empire.

I remember a Bannon/WarRoom guy interviewing a Chinese immigrant down on the Border and when asked by the Reporter why he was coming to America, he said “Biden’s money “. If Trump is able to shut off that money and the *Omnibus* bs, there will be serious repercussions. The entitlement mindset and desperation makes for a very problematic scenario. The attack on the Infowars Guy is a hint at what is to come.

I was in Walmart the other day and as I was walking out, I had to walk past the money center. It just happened to catch my eye that it was $4 to send money to another Walmart in the US. It was $2.50 to send money to Mexico and $3 anywhere else in the world.
Why in the world should it cost less to send money internationally?

If someone works, is paid wages in exchange for work, they can do whatever the hell they want with the wages they earn. If they want to send money to grandma in Nicaragua, they can. Its none of your business.

Well sure they can send the money wherever they want. Here is a noble idea, lets hire workers that keep their money in the country they are a citizen of.

It’s absolutely our business when most of them are on assistance from the US taxpayer while they funnel money overseas.

I think you’re missing the point, which is that these people were mostly illegal entrants to our country. In that case they CAN’T do whatever they want.
