“I was only a few months away from my Retirement and Pension”

I keep hearing over and over and over fired USAID and Gov workers boohooing and crying that because of Trump and Elon they are not going to receive their pension and they were only a few months away from retiring
Ok.. I get why they are upset but every single person that I have seen crying about this looks like they are 20 years old and nowhere near close to retiring with their age.
frick these people

Life comes at you fast when you've been sucking off the govt/taxpayer tit for 19 years

Well, they should learn to code, right? Isn't that what they told us peasants to do?

Why are you seeking this stuff out? Help me understand the obsession with laughing at strangers who lost their jobs through no fault of their own. How does that MAGA? Obviously I’m going to get downvoted but I’m hoping someone will attempt to explain this behavior.

Go find another government job (a real one) and finish out your retirement/pension.

Dude has no life and is your typical bitter person here.

So sorry your kush "job" has come to an end.
Please come to the private sector and feel actual market dictated pressures to produce. Good luck!

If they were a few months away they could have taken early retirement which was offered.

Because these are the same people that, though unelected, try to enact, and impose rules on citizens and businesses that make life more expensive, etc
You claim to be anti-Government but here you are defending Bureaucrats, which is the worst overreach and abuse of our Government.
The Chevron decision by the SC should have stopped these people in their tracks, but they shrugged it off and kept cramming policy they unilaterally enacted without Congressional approval down our throats so the only way to end it is to fire all of them

This will be settled in the "short timers" favor in the courts. Count on it.

They have been part of the rape of the American people for years.
ETA: had I seen it earlier I would've posted in response to Cubbies.

No one is losing their pension over this, if they were actually eligible.

Yea to lose a Federal pension you have to be convicted of a Felony or something extreme IIRC

They were offered severance and early retirement. Also, Can they not apply for a different government job and work there until they are eligible? Guess they rather play victim.

I bet you said nothing when private sector employees were fired or lost their businesses during COVID, while these same government workers collected paychecks from home while cheering on others losing their jobs

Trump has pretty much guaranteed libs win midterms and 2028 in a landslide. We'll be back to square 1 in no time.

A park ranger? Someone who processes retirement claims? Do you really think their goals are to govern and make life more expensive for everyone including themselves? It doesn’t make sense to me. I’m being genuine.

Bureaucrats Are members of Congress, not park rangers. Either way I’m trying to understand the motive behind ridiculing people who are upset that they lost their jobs on a whim. If you don’t think the federal government should employ anyone other than elitist politicians, that’s fair, but why mock regular old Americans who unexpectedly lost their jobs?
