The only thing that sucks is that now WWE is with TKO the ticket prices have skyrocketed. Gonna be much more expensive than 30 and 34 were.

Eh spending 8 hours in the Superdome in 2018 was kind of torture. I'm a wrestling fan but that was to much. I'm glad they split it up

I went to that event with some friends. Holy Christ was it long. Over 8 hours. I was not even a hardcore fan of it. My friends were. They knew all the wrestlers. I knew the big names ( Undertaker, Cena, Orton, etc). Was a fan on the 80s and then during the Monday Night Wars/Attitude Era.

My friends were in disbelief when Lesnar beat Undertaker and went nuts when Bryan won the title. It was a great event to go to but don't think I'll be back for it.

How could they do an 8 hour event? Good lord.

When I watched wrestling in the 2000s I think wrestlemania was like 3-4 hours.

They have the kickoff show. Then 2 rumbles ( one for men and one for women). Then all the tag title matches. Then special event matches. The 2 main events. It was long. Some matches were boring.

I mean they want to showcase everything across both shows which I respect. Doing all that in one night is insane. Spreading it over two makes much more sense, imo. Hell I can keep track of two 4 hour shows better at home than I can one 8 hour.

I understand that but even the 2 shows is a lot. Basically asking the fans to either pay for both nights or pick one night to attend. I enjoyed going to the event. I just never realized how long it was going to be. I know it is their version of the SuperBowl. I was exhausted.

For WMXXX we bought cheap seats for Mania but then had 4th row ringside for RAW, directly in front of the camera. It was wild.

Man, that back and forth with Cody last night was by far the worst that I’ve ever seen

Is that normally a 2 day event?

Has been for a few years. I've never been to a Mania. Plan on going next year, but we'll see.

Minneapolis got screwed for this year's and despite everything that Indy did for them in January, they got completely screwed for next year's. TBF, Vegas stole it from MSP by bribing TKO at the last minute. I wonder how much NOLA spent.

TKO has turned this into UFC events and a annual Super Bowl sized two night event. The prices are insane and are moving towards pricing out the type of fans that made WWF/E what it is. Hell, after Wrestlemania Vince wanted the three biggest markets to host WM2. Wrestling was brought to the people.

Now they are catering to the jetset crowd. I don't know if ticket prices are the reason but Trinidad and Tobago Flag Guy has been MIA since last year. Now unless you're a millionaire it's too expensive for superfans to do what they did for over a decade. Like the change in how they view fans, they've gotten rid of House shows over the past 2 years. At some point they are going to go too far and kill the golden goose. There's a whole generation of fans that they are losing.

We haven’t had a 2 nighter WM event since they changed format. It’s going to great. My kids are old enough now.

New Orleans and state of Louisiana in general really did itself a favor with how well the Super Bowl was handled. WWE seems to like it here and the Dome eliminates any potential issues with outdoor weather stadiums.

This is how all major WWE ppv sites are chosen now. Some local tourism commission pays the WWE to come to their city.

I went to Wrestlemania 30 in New Orleans. It was one of the best live events Ive ever seen.

But I dont think this current crop of wrestlers has anything compelling for a big show.
