Mine would be:

GOOD

1) DOGE -At this point, I would say the sky's the limit regarding what will be uncovered. Fraud at the Treasury Department and in the Social Security program alone could end up being substantial. They're just getting started, so stay tuned.

2) American Dream Team - Trump has been able to get every nominee confirmed so far (still waiting on Kash), and I'm A-Ok with Pam Bondi becoming AG instead of Matt Gaetz. I mean, even Dems secretly have to know that the Trump Team is so much more impressive than the group that surrounded Biden. Oh, and don't forget superstars like Vance. Musk, and Karoline Leavitt who didn't have to be confirmed.

3) Cultural Shift - Focusing on merit rather than DEI is huge. Fighting back against the poisonous, politically-motivated Woke culture is also a much-needed step in the right direction.

BAD

1) I don't think the nomination of Lori Chavez for Labor Secretary was a good choice. I'm not anti-Union, but she seems to be a little too pro-Union for my taste. Rand Paul doesn't like the choice, either, and I generally have a high regard for Paul's judgment.

2) A minor issue, but I don't like the fact that Trump is considering terminating Daylight Savings Time. I really like DST, especially during the Summer months.

UGLY

1) Choosing Paula White to be in charge of "The Faith Office" was a terrible pick. President Trump has an incredible and varied skillset, but he lacks both the background and the discernment to accurately assess Christian leaders. Or, as is the case with the charlatan known as Paula White, so-called leaders.

PS - President Trump is also trying to stop the hemorrhaging of $$$ to Ukraine. That's a very good thing in my book. Let the EU and the Globalists fund that debacle.

That's my basic assessment one month into Trump 2.0. Anybody else care to weigh in on your Good/Bad/Ugly review after one month?

I'm fine with everything so far except the loyalty to Israel and the Gaza mess.

Israel is not a friend of the US.

Does ANYONE want to claim this was a good pick?

Everything is fine or good except:

- Paula White, as you said

- IVF stuff, but TBD on what that ultimately looks like as it's really just teeing up further action

I’d add Gaza to the ugly list.

Gaza is the only bad thing but that’s likely a 5D chess negotiating tactic.

So pretty much all good.

No, but it's just a ceremonial pick with no authority.

Not a good choice, but can't really do any harm (or good). Just checking boxes.

Even where I disagree with him I can usually understand what he's doing.

I don't get the White thing at all. It probably doesn't matter much, but she's not influential in any of the circles you'd want on the Christian right. I just don't see what she brings to the table at all. For loyalty, there have to be million other options. William Wolfe or someone like that would be just as loyal and just as aligned, etc.

a small semantic... i think they want to make DST permanent as opposed to doing away with it. people keep saying do away with it, but what they really want is to make sure it never gets dark before 6:30 which is permanently enshrining DST, not eliminating it. If we eliminated it, it would be dark at 8 in the evening during the summer.

Bad - Gaza. Giving tax $ to Israel.

Good with everything else.

Everything is GREAT.

The State Of The Union is bound to be OFF-THE-CHAIN at this rate.

I hope he produces copies of his Speech and has one laminated just for Namcy Pelosi and hands it persoannly to her in the crowd.

Good - basically everything but Gaza and the faith office.

Neither was necessary IMO for US interests

Its simply the pendulum swinging back against progressive social and cultural idiocy.

I expect Trump to go too far as well, and the pendulum will swing back a bit. But I doubt we ever return to the gender and race idiocy we saw from Democrats again. I hope y'all learned some lessons.

GOOD: Finding basic issues with computer systems that make you wonder if they were bugs or features.

BAD: The slapdash way probationary employees were let go, only to find that they really needed the employees (e.g., the nuclear material handlers)

UGLY: Telling probationary employees that they were terminated due to "performance" when it had nothing to do with the reason for their termination.

I’m pretty sure they’re looking to keep daylight savings time and keep days longer in evening. Problem is this messaging is ALWAYS fricked up.
