My Doctor fired me

Because I wouldn’t get the Pneumococcal vaccine. He told me to go find another doctor because he wouldn’t make enough money from the Govt. unless I get vaccinated. True story.

I only go to the dr once a year for a physical so I don’t have to deal with higher health insurance prices from the company.
Otherwise unless it’s a trauma event I won’t be going to a dr.

At age 30, I started getting repeat staph infections and didn’t know why. After the fourth or fifth one I searched for the best Indian immunologist I could find, since Indian doctors always seem to know their shite. Within the first five minutes of my visit with him he suspected low immunity to pneumococcal viruses and tested my blood. He was spot on. I got the Prevnar 13 shot and guess what, not a single infection in almost ten years.
My son started getting staph infections about six years ago and we took him to a pediatric immunologist and suggested the same thing. She tested him and he also has an inherited trait of low immunity. He got the pediatric version of the Prevnar shot and same result, he has had one staph infection since then and even that one was a very minor infection.
I am a very strong supporter of the Pneumococcal vaccine.
Edit: all downvotes for explaining how a vaccine helped heal both myself and my CHILD. Y’all are some miserable fricking dumbasses here. Get out of your political bubbles for a bit and recognize that most vaccines are very safe. They’re not all the covid vax you damn tards. I just got the tetanus shot on Sunday after slicing my finger wide open. Guess I’m gonna die!!!!

Just FYI, after costs of pneumovax and supply purchase, admin costs, etc. docs clear $20-$30 for giving that shot. Immunity lasts about 5yrs. If $25 ($5/yr) is a game changer for your doc (Hint: It isn't), you should thank him for "firing" you.

Vaccines don't grant an extra augmented layer of immunity, they stimulate/exercise your existing immune system to fight. Your doctor was misleading you

Too much common sense and science from RFK. I'm so disappointed he isn't emotionally attached to his decades of govt programming.

A time in the past when you could just let year kids run around the neighborhood with their friends and not worry.

My doctor never told me it would grant an extra augmented layer of immunity. He told me he suspected I had low immunity to pneumococcal viruses and suggested I get tested. He was right, the shot helped me fight off things, and now both myself and my son are healthy again. I don’t k ow where your misunderstanding of what I said came from.
He was spot on and the results speak for themselves. No misleading on the doctors part at all.

I’m not going to downvote you - that’s mostly just silly - but I’m not sure you’re really helping the case for blanket indiscriminate admission of such a vaccine, and possibly better illustrating the folly of such a public health approach.

I think he makes a great point. Forget the safety of the vaccines argument for a minute. What if we were actually stronger and healthier when we actually caught and got over diseases? We're essentially robbing ourselves of long term health benefits by "nerfing" ourselves with vaccines for short term "gains".

Attenuated pneumococcal viruses injected into your bloodstream attacked live pneumococcal viruses to prevent you from getting sick?
It wasn't the same immune system, that the doctor called "low" in the first place, that fought the virus?

Why didn’t you negotiate with your doctor, instead of taking such drastic measures? Why not agree to pay for the vaccine, so that your doctor can still take his receptionist to Maui after dumping his wife, but have him agree to NOT give it to you?
After all, he doesn’t give a rats azz whether or not you have the stuff circulating in your body, he just wants to get laid in Maui.
What has happened to common sense and finding common ground?

He said MEDICARE has benchmarks, one of them is the vaccine. He said he would lose money if I didn’t get it. So, I left.

My brother and I both survived the chickenpox, measles and mumps when no vaccines were around. He is now 74 and I'm 73. He took the covid jabs and has had covid twice. I didn't take any covid jabs and I've had it once.
What does this mean? Your health is a crapshoot. It's what you yourself feel safe with concerning vaccinations. Let's take the peanut allergies that seem to be prevalent today. There was no such thing back in our young days but it seems to be a big thing today. Why is that? I haven't a clue but I'd guess it has something to do with our own immune system being toyed with by injecting drugs that are good for one thing but maybe detrimental for other things.
