and the drug addicts are now circling the wagons and even on the attack!
the angst over what he is doing is really all the proof I need to know he is the right man at this time to Make America Healthy (and less drug dependent) Again!!
I can promise you that I trust RFK Jr FAR more than some shrew at Vanity Fair with her claims that he is "falsely making claims" -- time to experience the world when you aren't all doped up sweetie!

RFK Jr. Goes After Widely Used Antidepressants, Claiming They Could Be A Threat To Americans
The newly confirmed US Secretary of Health and Human Services has falsely stated that SSRIs are more addictive than heroin and contribute to school shootings.
It didn’t take long for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the newly confirmed Department of Health and Human Services secretary, to challenge the efficacy of a slew of drugs that treat depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Within hours of officially getting the job, Kennedy released a statement detailing some of what he hopes to accomplish in his first few months in President Donald Trump’s administration—including looking into any “threat posed by the prescription of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors,” or SSRIs.
This class of prescriptions, including drugs like Zoloft, Lexapro, and Prozac, is used by over 13% of American adults.

Please don’t take away her Zoloft.

Lexapro has helped me. Hopefully it not taken away

Were you on Lexapro when The Donald broke you?

What is the one they prescribe for kids with ADHD? Or PTSD?

it’s rat poison that numbs the children and makes them compliant

Go down to the local deli, look the guy at the cash register in the face, use your words and order a sandwich with some meat on it.
Then go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. Get up in the morning and eat a high protein breakfast.
Repeat for two weeks.

Worse cold turkey withdrawals than benzos. This should be interesting

There's a newer treatment where they use virtual reality to simulate the traumatic event. Idea is the brain receives the offending stimulus and you're on afterward. Eventually the brain learns that it's over and you don't have to be afraid anymore.

This is obviously false.
But I appreciate his hyperbole (as long as he understands it’s hyperbole).

To me the drugs themselves are not the biggest issue. The problem is the reliance on them as a first line of treatment without exploring any other possible solutions. Have them available as a last resort, not as a “take this pill and everything will be fine” treatment approach. The drug treats the symptoms without addressing the root cause.

If we look to stats from before these drugs ever existed:
- Are people happier? (No)
- Are suicides or homicides fewer in number? (No)
Are there other metrics to judge them by where we see improvement?

It’s fair to note that many of these drugs are available in generic form now and aren’t the cash cows that other drugs are for Big Pharma, so the rally cry against RFK isn’t necessarily about keeping people dependent for money.
Also, one man shouldn’t have the autonomy to decide which drugs are legal or illegal. Just because we might side with the guy who appointed him doesn’t mean I want the power he’s trying to wield available for the next guy that I might not like.

It's gonna be real interesting to see.
Something similar happened with pain pills.
They are gonna have to start prescribing them less and less. But i doubt they will go cold turkey for people already preacribed, due to the known side effects.

Good grief.
He said dozens of times when pressed that he is not going to take away anything from anybody who needs it. He just wants to make sure everyone is informed.
Stop being hysterical. You’re not going to lose your drug.
