I would be in favor of Trump pulling us out of NATO. What are your thoughts?

I’d be against . But I’d make concessions on national security to Russia and get us back to peaceful coexistence.
I would REFORM NATO not abolish it. And clarify its non expansionist mission.

Hell yes. NATO only exists to create conflict and tension. It does nobody any good.

George Washington warned against foreign alliances, and also said a two party system would divide the country. I guess there’s a reason he defeated the British army with an overmatched group of patriots.

We should not pay into any organization that really does nothing for us. It is ridiculous we pay more than other NATO countries to protect them!. They should fund it 100%. It isn't like if things go bad we wouldn't be there if it comes to needing military action.

Against that idea....but need to make/inforce members spending their required obligations....
NATO has achieved its goal since WWII...... no new wars in Europe (for members)
No US in NATO takes the teeth out of NATO and opens it up for members being attacked (Ala Ukraine). War in Europe does not help the US or world for that matter.
I would say Trump needs to add a Tariff on all imports from countries in NATO that dont spend their 2% to recoup levelize their 2%, with the revenu going towards Defense spending here. also take away their NATO voting prevligaes until they meet 2%.....

Unless and until the European countries pony up in contributions and military investment, absolutely. The fact that a country on the complete other side of the planet is fopting the bill for another continent’s security is just retarded.

The people are behind figuring out government waste. He needs to stay on this track. His popularity is high and that is keeping the RINOs in line. If his popularity takes a nose-dive, we could see RINO defections that keep him from getting through his legislative agenda.
If the Democrats and RINOs think they have a case for impeaching Trump because he has overstepped his bounds, they will. He's gonna need to keep the RINOs in line. Right now, the Democrats don't know what to attack him on.
Dropping out of NATO is not going to be popular - either with the Europeans or the American People. It is going to take some finesse.

I'd reduce US funding for NATO to match the lowest member contribution. Refuse to increase funding until every single member increases their funding based on what was promised, including backpay for decades of underfunding.
