Unfortunately their kids and grandkids vote blue. I've seen this time and time again.

The parents are overwhelmingly conservative but since they push education at almost all costs , you end with kids in higher level institutions get indoctrinated.

If you mess with education and mess with the pathway these immigrants have, then they will vote against you.
Good example is in Seattle, Asians came out against affirmative action. The only thing is they are such a small population that there really is no significant impact.

We have to eat the pitfalls of DEI, affirmative action, and other "equity" programs and also accept the second classism and surface racism by whites in America.

However many are just grateful to have an opportunity, but statistically we have to work harder than other people groups.

A bit of progress anyway. It’s always been amazing to me that SF continues to install the worst of the worst in their position and rinse and repeat the next cycle.

There is a lot of pushback across the country. Honestly a tremendous mayoral candidate for Portland lost by 400 votes and Portland is notorious for letting illegals vote too, so there was almost serious change.

People here are pretty sick of it. I hope a renaissance of the west coast eventually happens.

They are so entrenched it’s beyond comprehension. Yet they see their cities in disarray and choose to repeat the same error.

I’ve always felt bad for the Asian and Indian immigrants that are here working their arse off and truly trying to get a better life for their kids and grandkids. They experience real racism, but are forgotten because they don’t beat their chest and virtue signal like other “minorities”

They just put their head down and work even harder.

San Francisco is the Petri dish for Radical Left hellscapes they aim to push across the mainland. Unless San Francisco experiences a hostile takeover of common sense that city is gone forever.

Republicans were in power in California in many high positions throughout the1980s - 2000s. Governors, mayors of San Francisco ect.

Just an observation without value judgement:

The Republican strategies typified by "the moral majority", Newt Gingrich, Tea Party, MAGA etc -- while successful in middle America -- are what played very poorly in California along with a lot of the current solidly Blue states.

You mean like every other immigrant class that came before them and then became successful leaders and raised great families?

If y’all let yalls kids continue to be the nail salon queen or the seafood king they’d be successful. It’s literally the ultimate job. Ride around in the caddy and pick up your checks and if any of your employees ask for a raise they get sent back

Instead y’all make them go to college which is a wealth redistribution scam from people that work (parents) to people that don’t work (college administrators). Not to mention practically all college degrees are worthless now as far as making a living

Oh, boo hoo. You mean like any white person would have to deal with in any Asian country?

San Francisco has the highest percentage of Asians-33%-of any major city in the U.S. Really enjoyed going to Asian restaurants for lunch when I worked there. I believe the City will bounce back.
