Trump needs to offer a voluntary repatriation program

Turn yourself in and you get a free flight back home, and you can take what money you have with you. Families stay together during the process.
We catch you? We seize everything but the clothes on your back. You stay in detention until we can get you on a flight. Might be a week, might be months. You'll see your family when you see them. Men and women's detention will be separate.
Probably get a lot of them out of here for the cost of a flight.

Seems reasonable but I'm still billing their home country for the flight.
Also ship the Afghans on TPS to Iraq and the Haitians to Cameroon or DRC. They can go somewhere that speaks their own language.

I said before Trump took office, they should be contracting with Greyhound to drive them back to Mexico City. Where they go from there is on them.

simply, the ones that are illegal can self deport, just walk across a valid crossing and if they want to come back do it legally

Impose a high tax on money sent back to home countries. There is a point where it’s not practical to do so. It won’t solve the problem, but it’s another arrow in the quiver. We have to start pulling feathers out of the nest and make things uncomfortable.

I believe what you’re saying occurred, but I doubt the brothas called them ‘walking ATM’s.’ Just doesn’t sound like a terminology our dark skinned friends would use.

I don't want to sound like a glory hound, but I had this same idea.
Threaten asset forfeiture if they have to come get you. Leave with the money in your wallet and anything legal in a couple of suitcases if you volunteer and show up for the scheduled flight.

Huh? These people had how many months to get out of the country before Trump took over as president? Trump is doing what he said he was going to do for 2 years on the campaign trail. Once he was elected until the time he was inaugurated there was your time to get out while the gettin was good

Better to send the Haitians to Africa where it is more stable and they also speak French there. Also makes it harder for them to come back here.
