The Saints have to fire their GM

That’s what Joe Brady turning down the Saints to stay OC at Buffalo tells me. We’ve already seen that coaches won’t take a HC job if they know the GM sucks.
Jags owner wanted to keep GM Trent Baalke, but Liam Coen said he got to go if I am coming in, so they fired him.
Why is the ownership so hell bent on retaining Mickey Loomis?

Every Saints fan has been saying this for 5 years. It’s not happening thought unfortunately Loomis is tied to Benson

Loomis still wanting a high five for hiring Sean Payton back in 2006.

Lady Gayle has zero understanding of the business. Whoever is advising her is retarded.

Because he is the de facto owner lol

I didn't eed this to tell me. Anyone with a brain who has paid attention the last 3-4 years has known Loomis has to go.

Exactly. He lucked out bringing in Sean and Drew and rode the coat-tails ...now he has the team in cap hell and the owner cant see that he hasn't made a good decion in 18 years.

John Madden would call you Captain Obvious

Gayle is a dumb old bitch and only knows what Mickey and Dennis tell her and according to them they’re doing a great job

Only way Loomis goes is when he eventually passes down the road. That's it. That's seriously it.

This has been debunked so many times but no one wants to listen
Loomis is basically an administrator
Thats it

He did hire Sean. Even Sean didn’t want Brees, or he wasn’t his first choice. Parcells is the one that told him to go get Brees. Loomis had nothing to do with that.

Loomis should have been fired for cause 2 years ago with his mismanagement of the cap. That's honestly egregious.

What's an administrator who acts with no accountability?
A defacto owner

His skill level is administrator, but Gail's level of blind trust makes him unfirable...thats what folks mean when they say "de facto owner". He can do what he wants even if he fails miserably. She still trusts him and won't fire him.

Unfortunately, until Gayle passes away nothing will happen.

The Saints could be on the upswing sooner than later if they tank next year, get a top 3 pick, and draft their franchise QB.
Draft the TE from PSU this year (Warren) and the QB will have a career Kelce.
Those 2 things set up the Saints to build long term with their young OTs.

And what if the drafted franchise QB refuses to come to this shitshow of a city/franchise? The Mannings aren’t letting Arch come here just like Eli.

Cross that bridge when you get there.
