Not sure how they pay it back with EV sales down and the fact they lose close to $40,000 on every sale. Rivian lost around $39,130 per vehicle in Q3, up from $32,700 per vehicle in the second quarter.

Hunter did actually work at a legitimate law firm.....but he was promoted to partner before he was 30....
He's still always lived off his father's name/connections.

Because biden is granting them billions to let him launder money to himself through them. He gets billions of tax payers dollars, it's direct money to help the competition of one of his rivals, the only guy in the ev industry that has actually been able to be profitable without a grant. It's a win win situation for him. Maybe this last little money push will give his son some real binder money

Like the look of rivian better than anything Tesla has, but still this money still won’t put a dent in Tesla. It’s a $6.6B waste/bail out

I’m pretty jaded about politics, probably the most “based” person I know IRL as far as believing our democracy has probably been a sham for a long time, that politicians are almost all psychopaths, etc
And still, I’m a little bit shocked at how brazen this administration has been as a lame duck.
