I’m not really a fan of Mr. Beast, I have a tin foil hat on in regard to how Google made him so famous on Youtube.

However, a fried told me to check out Beast Games on Prime because of how bad they mess with the contestants minds.

I have to agree, it is very challenging mentally. But it is also comical how weak and pathetic the people on the show are. It is kind of sad actually because it is a reflection of society and the direction we are headed in.

Anyone else feel the same? Or have a different take on it?

There is a lot of allegations going on with Beast Games. There are a lot of claims he wasn't providing adequate breaks, meals, and basic hygiene opportunities. He was also accused of causing a lot of emotional distress on the participants throughout the filming. The sets are very shite CGI. If you look at behind the scenes photos and videos, they were utter dogshit constructed, so being on the show probably wasn't a very good time at all.

There is a lot of accusations of extreme unprofessional and uncooperative behavior by the staff running the games. They have been sued because of it.

As YouTube as I am, I know nothing about Mr. Beast. Only some of the rumors and not so positive stories surrounding him.

Is some of that petty jealousy from previous employees, collaborators? I don't know. Don't care. But I find it curious that 'Beast Games' show comes out on the heels of some of these stories. A massive coverup / distraction?

Nothing knocks off bad press than good press.

I would love to do a mr beast game. The people who took 50-100k to quit were smart. That's a shite ton of money to win.

This game is almost cruel. People get eliminated for simply standing on the wrong spot.

I assume it’s because Google/youtube worked the algorithm to push him to user’s recommendations.

Nobody should be sympathetic towards people that were lucky enough to & willing contestants on a game where they could easily win several thousand dollars up to 5 million dollars.

Also frick the beast haters. Man giving his money & time away then hated smfh

Dude is a known piece of shite and just hooks up friends and family of his and his workers. The guy talking about Jesus in Beast Games and turned down the money as one of the captains is in several of his videos, prominently in the one where he put 100 people in a circle. It’s all made for drama nonsense. Even his philanthropic videos have been proven to be highly embellished.

He went full scummy YouTuber with his commercial deals at this point, jumping in with the people that run Prime is just the tip of it.

To the OPs point, the show is accurate in depicting an image of weak and effeminate men that is common in the under 40 demographic of modern western societies.

Which is why the people who passed up 100k to walk in the very first episode for basically a 1 in 1000 random chance win are complete morons

Wasn’t a huge fan of the first episodes - didn’t like how the games were totally up to random chance (I understand why did it though because of the number of eliminations they had to do), but I did enjoy last week and this weeks was pretty good too. Excited to see how the rest of the series turns out.

I had heard of Mr. Beast before the show but know nothing about his content, and still don't. but I gave the show a go and I actually really like it. I'm not a reality TV guy but I've enjoyed it.

*Episode 3 or 4 spoilers*

When the 4 contestants didn't take the million dollars I about lost my mind. Freaking idiots. Especially the dude who lives out of his car. It's a million bucks, who cares about these other selfish bozos on your team, you don't owe them anything, you've known them for a few days. Option A: Guaranteed million. Option B: A chance at 5 million but you have to beat out 100 more people. Option A is the correct answer all day long. Bunch of idiots.

Also, the religious zealot is a freaking giant douche bag. Can't wait for this guy to go home.

Never watched a Mr. Beast video before. I like him, but his friends are very annoying.

They also did a good job picking 1000 unlikeable contestants. They all seem like actor wannabes from Los Angeles.

Anyone still watching?
I think Mr. Beast is obnoxious so watching never crossed my mind until I walked in on my brother watching an episode. Now I’m hooked and just finished episode 9 this morning.

My hope either the black wrestler or Emma wins it all.

That's exactly what they are. They put casting calls out for stuff like this. Regular people don't apply and if they do they aren't selected.
