What was your most devastating college football loss of teams you don't care about?

2011 Oklahoma St vs Iowa St. Ok St was up 24-7 in the 3rd quarter and blew it. If they had not blown that, LSU would have 4 nati's this century.

If they had won, I think LSU would've won that Nati 35-14. That 2011 defense doesn't exist today or teams have just gotten better on offense.

hmmm....maybe clemson over smu lol. I can't say I've been that devastated. as a kid it was definitely UT over FSU in 1998 going to high school in Nashville as a young bama fan. I may have cried. so ill go with that

Auburn vs. the FSU team lead by Jameis “Crab Legs” Winston in the Natty. Would have been epic if Auburn would have pulled off the Natty after the kick six game.

Or win a natty? I swear all of this shite is just one big toss up.

That’s the obvious one everyone thinks of but I wonder if an undefeated Boise State gets the nod over Bama if they didn’t lose to TCU.

Tennessee getting boat raced by Florida during Peyton’s senior year. I was in 8th grade and was all in on him. That’s the last time I can remember being actually upset about a team other than LSU losing

But if LSU wins the 2011 NC, that likely buys Les more time. If he doesn’t get fired in 16, does 2019 happen?

Kentucky's shitass missing like 3 field goals against Tennessee in 2007 was pretty annoying.

Probably seeing Willis McGahee turn his knee inside out against Ohio State in the natty and seeing Miami go down.

Loved watching McGahee play.

In 2018, Maryland missed an easy 2 pt conversion vs OSU that would have won Michigan the big ten east.

Following week, OSU torches Michigan 62-38

West Virginia vs Pitt in 2007. It’s arguably the most devastating loss in college football history. It likely cost them a national championship and completely changed the trajectory of the program.

98 Big 12 Championship. Michael Bishop was my guy back then, loved watching him play. Bill Snyder had turned the whole program around. Undefeated, 18-point favorites, win and they're playing for a national championship. Had a 15-point lead going into the fourth quarter and ended up losing to aTm in double overtime.
