Shooting outside high school state champ game at the Superdome

Sounds like an argument among fans inside the dome spilled into Champions square and one fan shot another. Happened after the Franklinton/Cecilia game. I guess someone felt disrespeck so they endangered everyone around them with gunfire. Fortunately WPSO was on the scene since the school band and cheerleaders were boarding the bus nearby.

Have they confirmed that it was actually because of the high school state championship? They also had a concert at the smoothie king center with such names as Rod Wave, Moneybagg Yo, Toosii, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior, and Eelmatic

I saw dozens of FB posts stating the concert didn’t let out for an hour after the shooting. Also from the quotes of multiple news sources, the argument started inside the superdome.

Some good ole boys. They played the school I graduated HS from.. Plaquemine High. I didn't go, but it was on TV and I watched some of it, but my sister's husband was married way back in his early 20s from a girl from Cecilia. They had a daughter together. She lived in Cecilia and has a son, who graduated a good... 8.. 9 years ago? And he used to QB for Cecilia. I actually went to one of his games.. That's some good people down there. They love their HS football.

I believe (if I read correctly) the shooting was outside the Dome in or near Champions Square.
