It’s funny, because it’s true.

Healthcare in America is such a freaking scam
The whole thing. It’s so gross.
But hey if enacting or threatening violence can get the members the treatment and care their premiums pay for… well.. looks like some good was done after all

This. If you’re going to fleece American families for $20k+ a year for coverage you best fricking pay for healthcare. Or else.

This is probably good (i havent done a deep dive into the business aspect of these decisions).
However, you have basically just emboldened violent vigilantes.

BBONDS25 and Taxing Authority must be devastated, they were really looking forward to denying some claims.

It’s kind of unfair that only healthcare is getting fixed right now
When do normal people that take care of themselves get some relief from oppressive companies

I'm amazed it's as bad as it is with no end in sight. Depending on where you look, dozens of other countries have more affordable, higher quality care than the U.S. Yet every year, we get less care for more cost.
One could not have engineered a more effed up system if he tried.

Their poor execs might have to get a jelly of the month club subscription for a bonus this year.

Let me help.
No patient was ever going to be billed for this anesthesia. This was to stop overbilling by the anesthesiologists.
Which they will still do; they will simply pass an internal policy limit on the number of units that cab be billed and they will simply deny all claims over that limit on a case by case basis.
This was never about billing patients and that almost certainly never would have ever been done.

Maybe.
