Definitely the Cuban missile crisis near term history:

A president who wants to shake up the government is embroiled in a nuclear war scenario and is assassinatied.

Long term history:

The stabbing of Caesar in the Senate of Rome.

quote:

Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of senators on the Ides of March (15 March) of 44 BC during a meeting of the Senate at the Curia of Pompey of the Theatre of Pompey in Rome where the senators stabbed Caesar 23 times. They claimed to be acting over fears that Caesar's unprecedented concentration of power during his dictatorship was undermining the Roman Republic.

I've not heard that one that that's an interesting take
thank you

yeah I mean we haven't seen the crisis on our front doorstep post-Trump inauguration
but I see what you're alluding to
it's thought provoking
yeah let's see how this plays out I might see it in the future i'll give you this I can't say you're wrong right now

Yeah There are 49 BC vibes

But you know Trump is not yet a dictator if he's ever going to be
Some of the shutdowns locking public schools and making people wear masks that were far more dictator-like done at some state levels

The state has become dictatorial

I'm hoping for a June 12 1215 type of showdown with the bureaucracy moment
Perhaps this time it will be Trump versus the Justice dept or the Petegon in a showdown of where federal power lies

Watching these 6 GOP Senators waffling on Pete Hagseth makes me think we’re dangerously close to repeating Trump’s first term, at least as far as fake, RINO GOP backstabbing goes.

Around 1440, except Moore’s Law, because it is exponential, presents the experience of disruption and change moving at ever faster rates…

A revolution. A revolution in a violent sense has been out at ease for a while with Trump's victory.
My hope is this American First "revolution" will continue to gain momentum and swing us back to the traditional American values that have made us great.
It's already happening with our culture. Wokeness
insanity is in the decline and with Trump winning due to the increase in the black and Latino voters, it appears the racial relations are easing as well.

History always repeats itself.

A glaring example are the bigoted similarities between Manhattan or DC Courts and jury verdicts now vs those in Sumner, etc in Mississippi during the 1950's.

The 1980 election.

People forget just how bad the 70s were with our shite economy and our perceived weakness on the world stage. We were on our heels, and Carter was considered the worst president of our time. He’s now second worst.

Fortunately it was followed by a decade of incredible growth, patriotism, peace through strength and the fall of the Soviet Union.

Red states versus blue states … economic war at first.

What happens if Trump is assassinated on foreign soil? This is a very risky trip he’s taking to France… led by a politically weak, WEF- disciple ?
