14 pounder on my KJ at 250. Usually takes about 4-5 hours. 24 hr wet brine just using sugar and salt. Smoking with sugar cane and hickory.

After this cup of coffee I’ll be putting a Nunu’s boudin stuffed turkey roll and a honey ham on the pit

I usually let mine go to 170 when I smoke, especially on a bigger bird. Did an 18lb one recently on the smoker. Hit 165 in the breast 175 in the thigh. Cut into it and still pink near the bone.
Smoked at 225 took near 8 hours for it to reach temp

I pulled mine at 160 at the breast but I was smoking at 325. If I had got 250 I would've pulled just shy of 165. If I'm roasting at 450 in the oven I'll pull at 155.

16 lb (with innards) done at 300-350 for just shy of 3 hours I think. Pulled when breast hit 150. Turned out great.

For the first time since I got married 15 years ago I didn't do shite this year. I'm in the middle of the third week of trying to pass a kidney stone.

Wow, I am in pretty much the same situation. Kidney stones suck. Ready to be done with it.

Most of the time right now I just have minor nausea, but every other day or so I get a few hours of radiating flank pain that goes past 10. It went away for a week and I thought maybe it was in the bladder and ready to pass but this morning I woke up with the flank pain again.

I'm just over it.
