Short light-weight 22LR suppressor

Has anyone tried suppressors in the 3” length range like the Bowers Bitty or the Tactical Solutions Aeris? Application would be pistol shooting subsonic ammo.
Wondering if the small suppressors are worthwhile over something tried and true like the 6” long dead air mask.

I have the Rugged Oculus and love it. It’s modular and the short configuration works surprisingly well.

I have a sparrow and love it. Friend has a banish and it’s a hair lighter they’re about the same noise level, banish may have my sparrow by a tad. Hard to get less noise in a short can imo.

I have 3 rimfire silencers.
My favorite is the Q El Camino. It’s light, very quiet and very tough.
Rugged Oculus is a great one as well but it’s much heavier if the full version. It’s very quiet and very tough. Big positive is it’s modular but in the short version it’s fairly loud.
3rd and least favorite is the Surefire Ryder 22. It was my first rimfire silencer. It’s very, very light and quiet. The reason I don’t like it is the aluminum baffles. They’re a huge pain in the arse to clean.
The El Camino and Oculus have stainless baffles and you can run them through a tumbler or sonic cleaner.
If I were going to buy another, not sure I’d buy the El Camino or the Oculus. I really like the modularity of the Oculus but the weight of the El Camino is nice. I’d probably flip a quarter if it were picking for a pistol. For a rifle, I’d take the El Camino.

I have a silencerco warlock 22. Might be discontinued. It’s super lightweight. I use it on a 10/22 and a tx22. Someone commented today it sounded like I was shooting a cap gun.
Good price. Purchased from them twice

I also have the el Camino. It’s very light but not very short. If I put it on my bolt action 22 LR it sounds like an old lady fart of the silent but deadly variety

Bought the OCL Ti 22 for my Ruger Mark iv Tactical. Waiting to pick up. It is very light and has excellent reviews on pistols.

The Q erector. It's modular and light as a feather.

Another vote for Sparrow; Gemtech subsonics through it are quieter than an air rifle.

Thunderbeast came out with a gen 2 Takedown that is both shorter and lighter, with the same performance supposedly. And CAT is coming out with the Ben soon, will be a shorter Short Round supposedly.

I love my oculus. I haven’t tried it in short mode but it’s great and doesn’t seem super heavy on my pistol. I know it’s there but kind of like the weight.

I have a Dead Air Mask (5 inches, 6.6 ounces). Its been great on both pistols and rifles.

ATF approval came in this morning. Took only 6 days.

I love mine.
I haven’t shot it side by side with anything else but it’s quiet on a 10/22 and P322.
Want to try a bolt gun and some CCI Quiet. I bet it’s absolutely silly without the action making noise.

Go see Ben Fabre over at Roaming Shot in Zachary. They build great suppressors and the feather model for 22LR is just over 2 oz.

Bitty is the bomb. It really is amazing for the size.

I'll second this. Great little can.

Sweet rifle. I got a Ruger American 22. It’s stupid quiet. It’s rocking iron sites. It may be my favorite gun ever.
