I've never heard of this character, but I just learned that my nephew has some Dog Man books. Also, I'm generally not into animated stuff, but I saw this trailer at the theater, and it's the funniest trailer I've seen in a long time.

Those are great books for a 1-2nd grader.
Same author as the Captain Underpants series. My 2nd grader at home is hyped for the movie eventhougj she has moved on to chapter books.

My 8 year old is ecstatic. He's ready every Dog Man book probably 10 times at this point.

Am I the only one who didn’t like those books for my kid? Every Dogman book he reads has a multipage storyline about poo or diarrhea or farting or butts and underwear.

Wasn’t sure if you meant Davidson or Dinklage.

Also has Ricky Gervais.

Did the chief of police borrow the sheriff from squidbillies mustache?

Saw it tonight. Kind of all over the place but overall was lots of fun. Several laugh out loud moments. Animation was cool. Voice acting great. If your kids are into DogMan, they will love it.

Dog Man won the weekend with $36M domestic box office. It "opened at the higher end of expectations thanks to great buzz and pent-up demand for family offerings."

Number 2 for the weekend was Companion at just $9.5M.

Wish this came out about 2-3 years ago since my youngest has every one of the books. I asked him if he wanted to see it after first seeing the trailer but he said he is too old for it now.
