Yakuza House is a pretty easy answer. Probably the best restaurant in metry, but it is Sushi.

Equator Thai is a bit less expensive.

Just to play Devil's Advocate here: Lakeside is so connected to the interstate and highway system, if you have a car you can go literally anywhere in the city in like 20 minutes.

Cheesecake Bistro is right there in the parking lot of the mall. Arguably one of the better restaurants in Metairie . M

If you want to drive 10min, R&O’s is not far.

Such a Paul Allen like post. I’m shocked you didn’t say Impastos.

OP, go to Vincent’s, Station 6, R&O’s, or Austin’s.
Sandros is great too and not that much further away.

2 things.
A. Have to get this woman to get back in the car to drive more. Can’t ruin the secks for dessert.
2. Don’t want to run into Teedy. That will certainly ruin the appetite for decks for dessert.

I would definitely do Yakuza House if sushi is ok with you. Its by far the best restaurant in Metairie.

Go with getting some nigiri. The japanese version of carbonara they do is surprisingly great

Friend,

You are within walking distance to the best Italian restaurant not just in Metairie, not just in New Orleans, not just in Louisiana, not just in the South, not just in the United States, but on the planet.

If you go anywhere but Impastato’s please do not let me know. And do tell Mr. Joe that TulaneLSU sent you.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Acropolis near by had great lunch and dinner specials.

I like Cafe Equator as well. Dragon is right there for seafood.
