I'm all for people moving to where they are most happy. We apparently are one of the few (if not only) let you move in with out any requirements....but also tax you for yearsb after you move out something these people will get to find out

This hasn't been the case for a while now. Once they industrialized due to NAFTA and started making money, net migration from Mexico has been flat to negative. Why leave your home and culture to make $80K when a house costs $350K when you can stay home making $50K but a house costs $100K? Thanks to the U.S., many Mexicans can enjoy a higher standard of living in Mexico than they can here. There are even Californians of Mexican descent moving back to the wealthier areas of Mexico City because it's so much cheaper and the locals are pissed about it because they've been priced out.

They've been moving down there for a while now with how crazy the COL is in CA. This likely makes it worse. The Mexico City metro has exploded with ex pats and the locals absolutely hate it and are telling them to go back
