As someone with a GED, I’m not an idiot, I’m a human being.

It’s insulting to hear these pundits go on about an “education divide”

Then you flip it and see the majority of minority voters who vote democrat, and they are largely considered in the uneducated populace.

it pisses me off how sensitive the media pretends to be about race and gender and stereotypes and everything

yet they so casually through out “college educated” and “high school educated” when talking about voting districts as if not having a college degree makes you an idiot and use those divides as “educated” and “uneducated”

They never talk about how dumb the inner city that is a majority of D voter base is, sure they outperform with college grads, but it’s not like they aren’t relying on a huge population of absolute morons as well.

Several of the smartest and most successful people I’ve come across in my career either don’t have a degree or openly admit how useless their degree is.

I know one multi-millionaire that admits he cheated his way through LSU

And I'd argue that the more "highly educated" you are, the more myopic and ignorant you are.

My SIL is a PhD and will absolutely agree with this.

It’s 2024, not 1924. Information is everywhere. A college degree is just a receipt that shows you paid a bunch of money to attend a campus. The mindset that you need a degree to do any job is antiquated. Some jobs, yes, but not every job.
Some of the smartest people I know never set foot on a college campus.

To them, your worth is comprised of your education, and your political leanings, and whether you vote for them or not. To others it’s your net worth.

Good thing none of them actually determine a human being’s worth. God does, and He sacrificed His only son for you. That’s what He thought you were worth.

Remember, this is the "tolerant left" who talks about "toning down the rhetoric".

If nothing else the self-discipline, focus, time management, stress management, self sacrifice, etc speaks volumes about the degree holder.

These people become institutionalized and just parrot the same nonsense as their professors. They aren't smart, they're indoctrinated robots.

I don't get offended by much, that pisses me off. I don't have a college degree, and I guarantee I'm smarter than half of the people in DC.

What do they say that's offensive or are they just identifying people by your insecurity?

I don't think there's anything offensive about saying someone is highschool educated or college educated. Those are different experiences and groups of people.

It's like saying African American vote or Latino vote nothing inherently offensive to talk demographics...
