Wow. That’s awful. His USF team last year was fun to watch.

43 is so young.

I believe he led USF to their first ever top 25 ranking last year. Just a tragic story. 43 is way too young

Aggressive illness? What exactly would that entail? *Like what specific virus or illness would be considered that? I'm genuinely curious as to what woild be classified as such. Sepsis maybe?

It was complications from surgery apparently. Obviously that could mean a lot of things.

Sad to hear
He was definitely a rising star in the profession
Only a matter of time before he ended up at a bigger school

What's his vaccination status?

That's terrible. I feel for the family and the players.

Sad to hear. He played his college ball at Southeastern.

That sucks. 43 is way too young to be dying esp. over some "aggressive illness".

Way too young. Sounds like he was a great guy and very well liked. RIP.
Wonder what the aggressive illness was that forced a risky surgery?

Complications due to surgery? I had that happen to me in January but luckily I am still here. I can no longer work and can barely walk and have major breathing issues because of it. You never know what can happen?

Probably an illness that comes on quick and spreads/accelerates faster than doctors can treat it....

That’s just awful… RIP.

Reading his resume, he was an awesome coach and an awesome guy. Hate to see this.
