Considering the leash Dennis Allen gets, I find it highly unlikely with this organization.

Taylor Jenkins +1000
Will Hardy +1200
Michael Malone +1600

Yes please. I'll take any of those

Betting odds on who "should be fired". Obvious they know nothing about the owner/organization and their inability to cut ties with coaches when necessary.

Almost all the other "contenders" are better coaches than Willie. How depressing.

I'll never get the hate that Green gets on here. He was the lowest paid coach, given the softest roster in the league. Yet still had a winning record every year and even made the post season a couple times. This roster ran off two well respected veteran coaches. But Green's been able to get them in line and see some success. He finally gets some momentum and a small bump in pay, then people are ready to shove him out the door. It doesn't make sense.

I'll keep saying this, coaching doesn't matter that much in the NBA. A great coach is worth maybe 5 wins a season. That's it. Talent and fit is what matters more than anything. That why we were paying Green less than 2M/year. If it mattered that much, coach's salaries would be dramatically higher..

5 games is huge lol. And I think Willie has cost us more than that

DA still being the Saints head coach post Thursday will tell you all you need to know about the Pelicans keeping WG or not.

David Griffin is not the same person as Mickey Loomis.

And isn't Willie in the final year of his contract? It's a lot easier to fire a guy when you don't have a massive buyout.

But I actually think that we are going to do very well, so I don't think Willie is getting fired. I think small ball is going to work

In a normal organization I 100000% agree with you. However, Gayle is for all purposes an owner who is absent at running the businesses she inherited.

I think both Griffin and Willie are gone if they don’t solve the center issue very soon

DA is playing with a bunch of walk on Off lineman, no starting QB, practice squad receivers and an old banged up Def.

This isn’t even comparable.

Willie should have been fired after last year. How can you go an entire season without a single comeback win on top of all the blown Ls after leading by double digits.

To your point, Boston was on what, their third coach in three years? consistently over 50 wins every year. and won Championship.

Lebron goes thru coaches like toilet paper. Except in Miami where SPO is considered to be one of the best coaches in the league, yet can barely get the heat past the play in ranks.

Kerr was a first time coach with GS but Curry and Klay, nothing else needs to be said.

Nash was first time coach with KD Harden and Irving. team didn't do better after he was fired.

Coaches are more of ego strokers than X and Os, make every one get along and on the same page, and have enough talent, your team will be good. I think Willie is pretty good at that. We'll see how the BI situation plays out.

Why would any of those 3 get fired? Let alone first?

I'll take Mike Budenholzer at +8000.

Exactly. All three would be hired again in a heartbeat.
