I'm ready to automate every port. Can you imagine if every industry threw a fit whenever they want a raise or guaranteed job security? Bunch of narcissistic, mafia, pricks.

I saw one account saying they make $39 an hour... I don't know if that is starter pay or seasoned pay..

He’s a member of the Genovese family.

That union leader isn't a dock worker, he's a mobster.

So? Lots of people worked through Covid

Dayum!! That's a hell of a house!
I wonder what some of the common members are gonna think of they see that.

Dock workers are unskilled and lazy when they get there. The union makes them even worse.

Someone tell those sons of bitches to get back to work!

Mafia has had involvement with the larger and major unions for QUITE some time. Especially in the more corrupt states. (IL, NY for example).
Since unions became a thing, really.

They worked through Covid though
People were FORCED to sit at home. They wanted to work. They wanted their employer to stay afloat so they'd have a job to go back to. They wanted their small business to continue to operate.
People were fined, and in some cases arrested, for even trying to go to an office, gym, or restraunt.
People in MN were shot with paintball guns by police for standing on their porch during an unlawful curfew.
And these guys have the gall to not only bitch about it, but use the word 'reparations'
So far they are about as effective as Israel with their PR effectiveness.

The base is like $81K which is way higher than the median household income.
But on the plus side it’s a win win for trump. He can blame the oncoming shortages on kamala and still court the workers.

That union boss makes 775m from the present union and another 150-200m from another union.

So significantly less than most ceos?
I don't understand why we're so against dock worker raises on here. Who cares if those workers assemble together and negotiate higher pay for themselves. Good on them for realizing their value....

My buddy has worked in the Port for 8 years and only makes $75 an hour when broken down (before any OT).
He is looking for equity.
