Good for Jose. I think an underrated point this year is Jose consistent improvements. He’s no gimmick.

The main issue for Jose is getting played off the court in the playoffs, oddly enough it’s usually a defense thing as other teams hunt him with size.

McConnell from the Pacers is similar and found a way, this past year, to be a positive in the post season. Hopefully Jose can find a way.

I thought Jose was a positive in the PHX series and one of the few positives in the OKC series personally

Jose brings a lot of value in the regular season, like 6th man of the year level value. I also believe that he is an important culture setter. I think that is well worth $4.5 million per year. You just need to be aware of the playoff limitations, if he can't overcome them, to make sure you have enough playoff caliber depth on the roster to make up for it.
