What is the obtainable sports car now?

Corvettes are pushing 100k, is the mustang the only obtainable sports car for the everyday joe? Porsches are all 100k or close to it, what’s the 50k car that drives fast and looks cool?

I bought my daughter a Toyota 86. It's basically a toned down Supra.
It's tiny and fast as frick. I wouldn't want a car any quicker or sportier to drive. If sure it doesn't have the power or the top end speed of a Charger or a Corvette or whatever. But it was $36k tricked out two years ago. So very reasonable for a lower end sports car.

Mustang is probably the best bet for a budget fun sports car. Second i'd say a Supra.

Golf R. And a GTI if you want to go a little cheaper. Looks aren’t there, but I’d challenge you to find an everyday car that was more fun. Get a tune and you’re looking at 300-500 HP in a car that weighs around 3300 lbs.
