Yeah, she doesn't really know how to do this at all.
Biden, for all his shortcomings, had 50 years of rehearsed rehashed programmed lines that weren't going to really say anything of substance, but were also not going to torpedo a candidacy.

In order for the left to make it somewhat competitive there are going to have to excite the left base. In doing so they are going to lose middle America voters . Just keep putting an open mic in her face and she will Beta o'rourke herself and say something like “hell yes we are gonna take there guns”.

I joked about this with an Army combat vet from the Iraq war. Nice guy talking about ammo and such. When I made this joke his entire demeanor changed. He told me “if we ever get to the point where I have to lie about where my guns are, it might be time to use them.”
