Will the Democrats choose to invoke the 25th Amendment if they can’t stop the delegates from getting behind him at the DNC?

To me neither are good optics, especially for Independents. It would prove those “right winged conspiracy theorists” were correct about him being propped up to win in 2020 and continued through his tenure.

He would have a good argument to stay. I mean for the last 6 months every democrat and expert on CNN and MSNBC has said he was "as sharp as a tack". Are they going to say they lied?

He has my whole-hearted support to stay in the race and get kicked in the arse in November.

Hope you’re right.

DOCTOR Jill is negotiating with the Democrat money men as we speak.

It all depends upon how sweet the pot becomes.

I fully expect them to just try to ram someone through with their usual shenanigans.

I’m not sure how you get around the expiration dates in some of these states or the 100MM sitting in the campaign fund

If he lasts another week and a half or two they will have to form behind him. If they are under 100 days it will be tough to keep trying to force him out.

Remember, they need both the VP (Cackling Kamala) and eight of the 15 Cabinet Secretaries to invoke it.

The VP can't be fired by Biden (or his handlers). But he doesn't have to name her as his running-mate for his second term. So, she must take that into consideration.

OTOH, Cabinet Secretaries can be removed at will. They, then, must consider if there are enough votes (plus the assent of the VP) to make an attempt to invoke it.

The only real deadline they seem concerned about is the Aug 7 deadline in Ohio, which is a dubious concern at best since Ohio changed the law to create an 8/31 deadline (65 days before the election). But the DNC chair seems to think that the change won't go into effect until Sept. 1, meaning that 8/7 will still be the deadline. Not sure on the legal side of that though.

Sounds like an excuse to hurry up the decision on Biden so that they can reset the message before their convention, or have time for some sort of ad hoc primary.

I think they think they can cheat enough to try and save some of the down ballot candidates

They'll also want to gauge the temperature in the House, because no way Biden would not contest the 25th invocation.

The thing is regardless of the cheating Dems were hungry to vote in 2020 to get out and vote against Trump.

This go round there is so much negativity fueled by the fact Trump is killing it and winning over America again.

I personally think Dems being weak individuals for the most part as Humans have already conceded to the fact their is current no path to victory so many won’t turn out at all.

It’s time to take America back
