Do these only apply on the weekend? Is it fair game earlier during the work week

7am weekday
8am weekend

This was always why I never mow in the mornings.
But honestly on a weekday I'd say anything after 8ish is fair game. Really even on weekends even though I think 8 is a little early, it's not egregiously so.

usually stick to 8 or so for most of the year. However when its really hot out, my neighbors and I know that we all can get an early start to beat the heat.

Generators all night if you have enough fuel.

I never cared to cut my grass when it was wet. So Id just not be a pussy about the heat and cut in the afternoon.

My yard guy usually does it in the afternoon

Cut it when you want. I've never been around yard equipment loud enough to disturb me in my house. Only reason I ever know my neighbor is cutting his yard is if I see him out the window

Commercial property, no rules. If your mower has lights, get after it at 2:00 am if you want.
Residential, I use the “know your neighbors” technique.
My neighbor works shift work doing military training, and another that’s a nurse, if I look outside and see their vehicles home, I’ll wait till afternoon at the earliest, assuming they’re working nights.
Other than that, I say 9:00 is a feasible time to fire up.

This time of year my mowing schedule is based on rain and how long since the last rain.
I will mow when I need to.

I wait until the dew dries then I'm out there. I don't understand how people can mow wet grass.
Maybe I'd feel different if I used a riding mower, but I'm not walking through soaking wet grass at 7 in the morning.

A couple of weeks ago, I worked in my yard from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. I drank plenty of water, had shade on my head, sunscreen on my body, and took two or three 10 to 15 minutes breaks.
I came inside, and felt dizzy, nauseous, and very weak. I think I was suffering from light heat exhaustion. And maybe even dehydration even though I drank about 80 ounces of water in that time span.
The heat, with humidity, is no joke. I'm going to tackle my yard again tomorrow, and this time, I am doing it around 7 a.m., maybe even a little earlier to avoid the sauna as much as I can.
