The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It was not well liked when it came out but is so much better than any of the new trilogy. I always enjoyed it.

The Star Wars prequels

Even at like the age of 12, I was old enough to know something was off regarding the dialogue, but I loved the world building, musical score, and lightsaber fights.

The special effects were amazing for their day as well. They were like the Avatar of the early 00s.

The inverse of that for me would be The Force Awakens. Yeah, the overall plot was a general copycat of ANH but I really enjoyed it on the first watch in theaters. The sequels were terrible and ruined it though and I think a lot of people, like me, can’t really go back and watch TFA because of how shitty the payoffs were. But as a stand-alone film I enjoyed it.

Cable Guy and Man On The Moon.

Fans of Ace Ventura Jim Carrey typically don't like him in these.

To me this was King Kong but with a T-Rex. I really enjoyed the island part of Lost World, once they left the island it was ok. Still like it more that the last 2 JP movies.

It lacked in excitement for the most part I think compared to the first one, but the scene in the trailers at the muddy cliff with the two t-rexes was great. One of the better scenes of the franchise.

I liked that movie a good bit.

Phantom Menace will always hold a place in my heart. Being a kid the idea of a new Star Wars was awesome. Dual of the fates was number 1 on TRL that movie gives me all of the nostalgia vibes.
