Major roster turnover. It's gonna be hard to say what this teams potential is until April 2025

How does anyone have this kind of confidence if we don't even know what the roster will look like on opening day

The attrition probably isn't even done with yet

Baseball is too fickle to make calls like that. Maybe if they were playing 5 or 7 game series you could. But take last year as an example. You could guess LSU would be the best team in the country, but you wouldn’t know that Tre Morgan and Josh Pearson would come up with those championship defensive plays.

Now, in football, after weighing all the factors carefully, for the 56th year in a row, I am predicting an LSU National Championship.

I love your optimism and hope you are right.

However with all the turnover they will likely put it all together late in the year again and we are WAY more likely to have 3 fire Jay Johnson threads a day than a NC.

Need to actually see what the roster looks like before this can be considered.

As is with the Talent Returning and what we picked up in the Portal we will be Preseason Bottom Half of the SEC and if ranked will be somewhere in 15-25. We will only have 1 proven starter, a Transfer from a Lower Conference, and have only replaced a part of the Offensive Production we are losing. Outside of the Transfers we will be starting a group that has not proven that they can consistently hit for average with little power. Not mention the always brutal SEC will be tougher than ever.

Highly doubt lsu will be outside of the top 15. This is lsu baseball, we will always be rated high in the preseason, sometimes too high

Highly unlikely. The roster is in worse shape than it was going into this season by far. Other teams in our conference are stacked.

I predict a very similar outcome for Lsu next year in the reg season.

I agree Andy
Nothing wrong with being hopeful & thinking positive
I like the position we are in with the guys transferring in, nothing wrong with being excited to see what they can do

Wasn't the reason we didn't win it this year because of the major roster turnover and inexperienced players? If so, I've got some bad news for you..

I call bullshite on this. Other than White, we had a lot of question marks coming into this season position wise. A lot of what if's. What we did know and thought about this years team was that the pitching staff was potentially going to be very good. Other than that, we had no clue what we were going to do offensively other than White like I said.

FIFY, our fan base can call to fire our coach AND win a natty all at once. I believe in us.
